Victoria Bauzá
FOUNDRESS
Victoria Bauzá is Partner at ACLASS Montevideo office. She has a profound knowledge of the upper
school and university segment. Vocational guidance is her passion and she successfully supported
students through the secondary to higher education transition process for over 10 years. She is an
expert in college admission trends in the Southern Cone and globally, university recruitment and student
mobility, and is committed to raising awareness of the skills and abilities needed to succeed in the 21st
century.
Victoria has wide experience in translation, and has been serving the private and public sectors for over
two decades in international bids, research and communication campaigns. She acts as language
advisor and sworn translator for renown law firms, as well as simultaneous and conference interpreter,
both locally and remotely.Victoria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and a
Teaching Degree from CEDI (Uruguay). She also received a Master of Arts A in Educational Psychology
from Hamline University (USA) and a Diploma in Education from ORT University (Uruguay).
Natalia Font
FOUNDRESS
Natalia Font is a partner at ACLASS Punta del Este office. She is an expert in English Language and
Literature at IBDP, IGCSE and university level. She is an accredited international examiner for IBO and
Cambridge International. She is passionate about making things better and doing things right. She has
many years of experience as a university teaching assistant and lecturer, where she has thrived in
curriculum design and approaches to teaching and learning. She also specialises in supporting students
in vocational guidance and career applications, and has secured many deals and scholarships with local
and international universities.
Natalia holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Literature awarded by UDELAR (Uruguay) and a Bachelor of
Arts in Teaching Literature, awarded by IPA (Uruguay). She also received a PhD in Literature, awarded by
The University of Exeter (United Kingdom). During her time at Exeter, Natalia worked in literary and
artistic research, cultural studies, and comparative literature. She lectured English literature, Spanish
language and Translation EN-SP.
Carmen Gomensoro
FOUNDRESS
Carmen Gomensoro is a partner at ACLASS Montevideo office. She is an internationally-qualified
educator with a love of teaching and coaching, evidenced in her more than 40 years of experience in
both primary and secondary education in Uruguay. Throughout her career she has taught both
Language and Literature in schools and institutes, as well as lectured undergraduate courses. Her love
of books and literature has taken her to share her insights in reading groups designed specifically for
readers of different ages and needs and in radio programmes as literary commentator. She has
extensive experience in IBDP & IGCSE courses, as well as Extended Essay tutoring and curriculum design.
She supports students throughout the school year and for specific oral and written examinations.
Carmen holds a TTC Diploma awarded by the AUCI, Anglo Uruguayan Cultural Institute (Uruguay), and a
Bachelor of Arts awarded by Goldsmith College (UK).
